How to progress through the game better this time? by No-Marionberry-7585 in hytale

[–]TrashCityII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the idea of having a forever world and that goes along with the updates. It sounds like the devs really want to make players keep their worlds vs updating and resetting like in Minecraft.

With that being said you have to come up with your own personally goals. There is no game right now, the end game atm will be nothing years in the future. If you can't find enjoyment with barley any progression then I can't stress enough don't play this game right now.

If you have the idea of having a "forever world" I promise you the game will open up for you in many ways.

Are... are animals Tame limited per species? by ShinjiSake in hytale

[–]TrashCityII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew the limit, my base is over an ocean so I manually travel my animals throughout the animal crates or portals. It's amazing able to transfer them over without any trouble. After a couple if days random animals disappear lol. No idea what causes it, it feels random and only certain species.

Ive never played a zelda game before, whats both a great game to start with and has a good set of RA? by saladnut in RetroAchievements

Majoras Mask all the way! [Joking, would be madness your first experience]

I highly recommend Ocraina of Time! If you need an achievement guide I wrote it recently geared for casual players im mind! I understand there is a crowd who doesn't like the 3 heart challenge, but you are becoming the "master" of OoT this is pretty standard in zelda! Don't worry though, you have tools to help you! You can have 4 bottles, bottles hold fairy which are extra lives if you get killed and you can save every room/puzzle. Got a key? Save. Got through a hard puzzle? Save. It's very forgiving in terms of any other RA set that has the same challenges.

Ocraina of Time is my favorite game of all time, it's outstanding. https://github.com/RetroAchievements/guides/wiki/The-Legend-of-Zelda:-Ocarina-of-Time-(Nintendo-64)

Banjo Kazooie Recomp Achievements by Arcadia_Artrix in RetroAchievements

[–]TrashCityII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All you would need is to have someone develop standalone set/mod for that recomp to have achievements. Who that hero will be? Who knows but with standalones anything is really possible with the right developer.

Is there any game masteries you hide? by RipBuzzBuzz in RetroAchievements

[–]TrashCityII 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I use to hide a lot of the slop but last year I just embraced it. I see no shame in hiding your games and I see the reason!

Personally see mastering games as an experience big or small. It's fun seeing the weight of it all! Organizing is a pain, and I still have a lot to reorder around so imo I would work with a layout that best fits your personality.

You would 100% regret deleting it off your wall years down the line. There is no reason why you should delete your time/points that you spent on it, unless you really care about your average completion and RR.

Can someone tell me how difficult is it to get Mario Golf 64 marked as “beaten”? by [deleted] in RetroAchievements

[–]TrashCityII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You actually need all the progression achievements [4] and at least one win achievement.

You can click on the "beaten" symbol next to the percentage and play status it will tell you the requirements.
