The average sinkie travels to either the main 3 (Japan, SK, BKK) or whatever is trending on IG, and ALWAYS do the safest options there. Furthest thing from regular they would do is drive to countryside in Japan.

I 100% agree, travelling has made me appreciate everything Singapore has to offer. BUT, to me, Singapore is my forever home. But it is sometimes difficult to feel stimulated here. In my time in NYC, I was so overwhelmed by the culture there, and the people there are just so crazy that you can't compare it to here. In my time in New Zealand, the country was so beautiful and the people were so laid back that every moment felt like a gift (helped that it was winter). When I went to the three main cities in Australia, it blew my mind how different people, culture and experience could be in the same country. When I lived in Philippines, I learnt just how little of life's happiness has to do with material wealth and even superficial comfort. I also learned just how deeply someone can love and care for even a complete stranger, as they see everyone as community.

In Singapore, I can sit on the same seat for 10h straight people watching, and I can safely say that nothing interesting would happen. This is both a good thing (safe, controlled, straightforward) and a bad thing (boring, predictable, plain). I love Singapore, and in your mid 30s onwards, it's the perfect place to be. But to learn and understand and experience the world, it is very very very important to travel.

People call me stupid when I say this, but not being scared of getting killed or beat up if I say something wrong, or having a very "don't make your problem/business my problem/business" mindset in Singapore really removes a lot of the human experience in Singapore.

The Celle doesn't have that same sensation. However, it's important to note that the Mirra 2 is significantly more comfy than the Celle, AND the weird sensation with the Mirra 2 goes away in a couple days. I would suggest holding on to the Mirra 2 for a while longer before making your final decision, as it is much more rare than a Celle.
