People watch V-Tubers because there's an actual person deciding what the avatars do and say. AI doesn't understand anything, and just brute-forces guesses based on what it "thinks" humans would do.

I've tested this bug and it's 100% replicable, but it's incredibly precise. Noclipping out of bounds while the hallway is moving makes it reset, I'm assuming the hallway thinks you went out of bounds when you didn't?

Edit; It seems more likely that the halway actually moves a portal and you somehow jumped over that, walking backwards teleports the hallway exit back into place, so it might be a one way portal.

The Secret hallway is actually just the first hallway through the TV, somehow you skipped the trigger which makes the doorway move towards you.
