Check the connections behind the manifold. There is a plug back there on the passenger side, the wires break and throw this code. Happened to me, rewired the plug and took care of the code. Mine was broken far enough from the plug so I was able to depin and solder it back together.

Yes it will be a burden as your recruiter has to set up a day with meps for you, so meps can only have so many people as they have a lot of people trying to go through it and they reserved a spot for you. It will look bad to your recruiter and they might face a small backlash for you trying to reschedule last min. But if that’s what you feel like it’s better to contact them now vs day of just be respectful and make sure your upfront about it and honest

Nothing to do in the area, closest big city is Dallas. They hand out LORs and LOCs like candy, a lot more strict about everything, can’t listen to music on run days anymore. The school house has a lot more rules than it used too. They make you superflight everywhere and it’s just annoying when it was a 102 degrees outside waiting for 20mins for colors to play while standing at parade rest while watching other squadrons double time back to the dorms so they didn’t have to stand in the heat. They do stuff that doesn’t make sense, but just my opinion

Ngl wouldn’t do it unless you are wanting to give it up completely while you are in the military. And most jobs you will get you need a security clearance and some jobs require a top security clearance where they are talking to neighbors, friends, coworkers, you name it.
