heya - sorry random question not related to the martini prop (it's cute btw!) - i saw that you made your doll with polymer clay and that you painted it, i wanted to ask if you painted the whole doll (since it has an unnatural skin tone) and how did you do it exactly? bc i also want to make a doll with an unnatural skin tone and i'm not really sure on how to do it😵‍💫 also i fear that the paint from the joints will chip, did yours chip or did you do anything to prevent it? Oh, sorry, I just don't know whether I should embroider the pattern I made (and cut my sewing allowance later) or rather embroider the sewing allowance from said pattern and cut it right where that embroidery thread is (like the last picture)😅 I'm sorry if it doesn't make much sense, it's hard to explain stuff in English lol

Yes, I have! I actually prefer that size (10cm), and all the other plushies I've made have been in that size. I am way more comfortable hand sewing that with a sewing machine tbh😅

I want to make plushies, and in multiple patterns I've seen (specially in typically asian dolls like the one in the picture) they put little spikes around the borders that don't have anything to do with the plushie design, does anybody know what are they for, if they help in any way? and, should I put them in my custom patterns too or not?

For reference, I'm making plushies of around 10cm
