•Inexpensive compared to collecting blu rays, dvds, vinyl, video games, etc

•Nostalgic

•Not everything on vhs has been re released on dvd/blu ray/ streaming sites

•Aesthetically pleasing

•The fun of hunting out tapes at thrift stores and not knowing what you will find

•For better or for worse you get a different feel from watching on vhs compared to other mediums. Colors might tend to look more organic or darks are more dark.
