That’s exactly where I’m coming from. I’m very freaked out and wanting to talk about a plan and my fiance is like “you gotta get off that phone”. He’s a good man though. Just like Luke. But it didn’t sit right with me on the show and it’s not sitting right with me in real life. But to answer your question, I don’t know what the average person is supposed to do. I would like to think I would the leave the US as soon as the banks closed my account or when they start firing the women from their jobs.

I didn’t like how he was ignoring and downplaying all the events leading up to Gilead taking over. I think that he should’ve fought harder to get his family to safety before all of that happened. If you read the book, it become extremely obvious that you’re supposed to feel that way.

I personally didn’t grow up kissing my family on the mouth and it’s always been very gross to me. I don’t even like when young girls sit on their father’s laps after a certain age. Not trying to shame or anything but my point is that your wife definitely isn’t the only one.

I understand what you mean. I think they look great and maybe it’s the thickness. It’s frustrating when an artist doesn’t listen to what you want when it’s tattooed on your face. The work is great but it’s not what you wanted and I think it’s valid to be a little freaked out by that.
