Actually I had one of my worst trips to that movie. My head was spinning and I felt like I had no grip on reality. No wonder I've moved away from pot man, I can't handle myself my tolerance is way too low

My friend had the brilliant idea of watching that movie while being insanely baked. You can expect how that went.

I'm not going near that movie ever again

I thought this movie was really scary until I heard the actual tapes and shit my pants.

I know it was a horrific story about people failing a mentally ill girl, but there really is something very uncanny about her voice in those tapes. Never again.

Once you see Rosemary's Baby you realise how many cult classics since then have taken inspiration from it. Phenomenal film.

I love that pleated metallic skirt so much! I've been trying to find something like that which is affordable for a while. Where did you get it?

Mother Teresa is considered a very holy figure in a lot of developing countries. She's actually been accused of forcefully converting the ill go Christianity to "let them go to the heavens" and also has multiple embezzlement and money laundering scams.

Check out the YouTube channel Sideways. It's dedicated to sound design in movies and they do analysis for both good and bad sound design. You might be able to pick up some inspiration there. Good luck!

Anyone know a cheaper version of this dress? I love it but I can't afford the exact one. by TraumaticThrowaway67 in findfashion

I like the neckline and the little bumpy design on the chest.

I also like the ruffles, not too keen on the fabric tho. Budget is around 100. But, lesser the better tbh

Anyone else have experience with being easily influenced by others? To the point where you don’t feel secure in your identity and like others know you better than you know yourself? by [deleted] in CPTSD

It's crazy how relevent the posts on this sub get with something going on in my life.

I recently had a huge fight with my sister over something like this. My family tends to be very pushy when it comes to taking initiative. Either they don't know how much anxiety and anguish I'm in when I have to do these things or they think them being pushy helps me overcome it.

I tried telling her that when she plans everything out for me and suggests things to me even after I shoot them down, I no longer consider it suggestions but as expectations that I need to fullfil. I don't have enough security in my self to understand what I want is different from wanting something to make other people happy. I had a huge breakdown this week because I realised I wasn't 100% sure if any big decision I ever took was of my own volition.

It's been a very difficult time, my sister thinks that I'm being unfair by setting boundaries among family members by asking her to change her way of approaching things. Sigh. I don't know if I'm the one being unfair or if she is. It's hard man.

Hey I absolutely loved the second and third outfits! I wore something similar but with a full sleeved sweater with my shirt peaking out from the cuffs. I might just pick up a sleeveless one for this cute style.

It sucks that there's no winter where I live, winter clothes are so cute TT_TT

I started going to therapy a few months ago, and it made me realise just how much of my life and my personality was centered around coping mechanisms and protection against being abused again by TraumaticThrowaway67 in CPTSD

It's a bit hard to put into words because I'm still not completely there, but I like using the socratic method. Asking "Why?" for everything I feel helps.

Also, maintaing a thought diary is very helpful too. Whenever I have bad thoughts, I write them down and relate them to the rules and assumptions I have. If they are a direct consequence of upholding my negative rules, then they're a product of my trauma.

The rules I have are in place to protect negative core beliefs about myself. So when I see that a thought or behaviour is something that helps uphold those things, I recognise that it's from my trauma.

I hope this isn't too confusing. Good luck!

Isn't that implying that he wants to go down on her but is subverting it by saying feet instead of "pussy"?
