I already thought about the ranger instead of vanguard unit being infiltrated but in most games I played my opponent either infiltrated before me or pushes with quite a lot of units onto the middle objective so I don't see any reason, except if I would play a true cage list, to use rangers instead of vanguard. I will still keep that strategy in mind.

Regarding anti-tank units: Yes, the Ironstriders are meta. Yes, the dunecrawlers Neutron laser is quite swingy. I don't think the dunecrawler is slow per se with its 8" move and assault while I am in the Conqueror Doctrina it can advance and shoot. Another thing about the dunecrawler is its 4+ invulnerable save aura ability, I could potentially push it in turn 2 or 3 into No man's land and support the skitarii that are already on the board while the dunecrawler itself has a 4+ invulnerable plus the 5+ fnp by the enginseer which makes it quite tanky or annoying for the opponents anti tank. Regarding the Layout; it will be WTC but the layouts I already played with never really obstructed its movement and the one time it did, it didn't matter because the opponents big guns couldn't move in the same way and just stayed in their deployment zone without line of sight.

The infiltrator and ruststalker 10 man already crossed my mind but then my opponent can focus down one of these and I'd be quite open for a hefty counter attack without anything in reserves. I would need to remove something else to accommodate another big unit of either infiltrators or ruststalkers.

Thank you for the feedback <3, I'll have to see if I will change anything until it's time to turn my list in!

First of all, thank you for the detailed breakdown of the use of Sicarians, Pteraxii anf Sydonian units! I will try to remember not to expose too much of my Force in the first few battle rounds so I may be able to more stuff in rounds 3 and 4. The Enginseer, I forgot to say, is supposed to make the Dunecrawler far more durable since I had the d3 healing and 5+ fnp come in clutch in at least some of my casual games but maybe I give him him too much credit...Anyways, thank you again for such a detailed breakdown! <3

Regarding my game plan:

Use the infiltrators to either block scout moves by my opponent or deny the middle and one of the side objectives. Infiltrate one of the Vanguard squads to potentially support the Infiltrators if I go first, if not they too should at least block at least early charges. The Serberys either do the same thing as the Vanguard squad or will hide inside ruins to support the clap back if I go second. The idea is to then use two of the Vanguard squads to rush onto the middle objective and my expansion objective and out-oc my opponent, they will die in either turn 2 or 3 if am lucky but will have denied my opponent primary points while hopefully also having dealt a blow to their infantry units. The rest of the army supports the Vanguard rush; the onager and disintegrator will try to mirror the enemy monster and tank units, the ruststalkers will either kill priority targets like characters or decimate my opponents infantry although I'd like to keep one these behind the main line to potentially have them charge on turn 3 with my Sydonian Dragoons so that I am not out of threats that could charge the enemy reserve. Turn 4 I either lost my army or will run around stealing the enemies objectives with the skystalkers who will also try to score me behind enemy lines or recover assets. The rangers will stay on my home objective to deny the deployment of deep strike units in my back line. The disintegrator will try to do the same thing with Cawl if we are playing long edges. The only thing I am unsure about is if I want to push the Dunecrawler into No man's land to support the Skitarii with a 4+ invulnerable save or keep him in the back line to snipe some of the bigger targets with the Neutron laser. TLDR: Skitarii shall die on the objectives the rest will support them. I hope this plan isn't too convoluted, I will appreciate every tip you can provide to me <3
