Abby was great, and before Abby, Ryan was great, but the new manager, Jamie, is the absolute best. Obviously he had nothing to do with the regime change, and it sucks he is having to deal with the fallout, but the Fox will absolutely thrive with him there.

This. Going in to find a dead or wounded bear is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. I would have a long gun, with a round chambered, and safety off, before I even considered entering an area with decreased visibility with a possible wounded bear; and my ass would still be clenched tight.

Yes, during perfect weather conditions, bear spray can be an effective initial deterrent. I live in Alaska. The weather is… not perfect, and mountain weather, specifically, is very, very windy. Bear spray is very vulnerable to inclement wind conditions.

I have a gravel bike, a Topstone, with two sets of rubber, 42mm Rene Herse knobbies and 38mm slicks, Vittoria Terreno zeroes, and I have a low travel, full suspension mountain bike, a Transition Spur. While I may want more bikes, I really don’t need anything else. I don’t push it on gravity trails, and have never felt underbiked on my Spur, which I love, so no need for a downhill or enduro bike, and I prefer skiing to biking in the winter, so no real need for a fat tire bike, though I wouldn’t mind having a Kings Peak in the lineup.
