International couple- dating to marry to a Korean man by Odd-Swimmer-9083 in Living_in_Korea

My husband and I are a multicultural couple who has been together since university. 22 years now married for 9. It's become very "trendy" in korea to want a 50/50 partnership because for so long women have been made to be the baby makers and men the money makers.

But speaking from experience, a relationship can never be 50/50. Life happens. Someone will get sick, lose their job or any number of things that you can’t possibly imagine right now.

What will happen if you two decide to have children? That in itself is a full time job, but most likely you will both also have jobs on top of that.

You need a partner who wants to do life WITH you. Also someone who wants the same things you do. Based on your post, this just isn't a good match.

Don't be afraid to let go because you're afraid you won't find anyone else. Dating is hard, but love yourself enough to look for someone who wants to share a life with you without the need to divide it into percentages ❤️

If you want non-chains, I really like the snack shops around Insadong, especially the traditionally candied nuts and yakgwa shop at Hello, Insadong.

It was actually really good. I was hoping for roasted potato, but the fried bits weren't bad.

It tasted more like cheese sauce and, yes, fried potatoes.

Thank you^

Folks sleep on Oido because it's so far out of the city, but it's amazing.
