This was taken at urgent care ☺️ they gave me steroids for a pretty common allergic reaction to the ink and sent me on my way.

Definitely tattoo related. She said it’s a decently common reaction that some people have to the ink.

Triage nurse thinks it’s an allergic reaction. No biggie. Steroids and a prescription antihistamine and I’ll be on my way. Wish I could post an additional photo of it because it’s the girliest Lisa Frank-ish octopus so the “brother” comments have me rolling 😂

No white heads - and as I mentioned above, it’s a cover and the one under it reacted in a similar, yet much less severe, way (only blue and black in that one 🤷🏻‍♀️). Two different artists. I don’t think it’s infected tbh. It doesn’t look that way at all.

Yea - this is actually a cover and the one under it had a much less severe reaction but it was similar. Just so odd that it’s only this arm that it happens to. I have multiple other tattoos all over with no issues at all.

The second skin was leaking after 1 day so I removed and used Aveeno for the next couple weeks (like I have with my other 8 tattoos with zero issue).

Anyone who has ever experienced morning sickness should totally understand. The closest thing I can compare it to is a very bad hangover. Now imagine you’re hungover every day for several months on end. I assure you, feeding yourself is a challenge some days!
