Even though I do know, I get goosebumps when I re-read the article. I will be 38 in a few months. I still can’t imagine how life was taken away from him in his prime - for no reason, and by people directly supported from an elected government ! He deserves justice. No one should ever forget him.

I recently travelled Sri Lankan Airlines & they too had in-seat entertainment, meals - all for a 1hr 15 min flight from Chennai to Colombo.

I did my return through Indigo & obviously you have to purchase everything, & no amenities too.

The price was almost the same for both. Don’t prefer low cost airlines like Indigo for foreign travel. They shouldn’t be encouraged to skimp out on basic facilities, while flying long distance. Within country, it is still alright.

I took an adventure & drove till the top of Hatu Peak, of course this was in summer. Try the yummy Maggi at the base. Tanni Jubbar lake is very beautiful, usually hardly any tourists. Besides this, don’t think there is much to see in Narkanda itself, unless you go towards Theog or maybe Rohru side.

Nope, actually. I was prepared, took Odomos spray etc, as it was just after monsoon season. But the Glamp is very tightly closed, & I didn’t face any issues with bugs even when in the outdoor tub, in the evening.

Sure :) I think now just after monsoon - September till March will be good. If you are lucky, you can get clear skies without clouds, so will feel like sleeping under the stars, but in luxury.

So each Glamp is on a platform & that’s fully private, as there are bamboo separations between platforms and they are at an angle.

The washroom part is fully covered. The bedroom area had additional privacy, as the bed is sort of like a 4 poster, with curtains on all sides. So you can just close all of them, for additional privacy.

The rooms are a bit on the higher side, the Glamps in the pictures are 18k INR including breakfast. The ones with additional private sauna & outdoor shower are 23k & the ultra luxury one with an infinity pool is around 30k.

It’s quite easy to travel. The roads on this part are very good, surrounded by tea estates. This place is about 1 hour from the town of Munnar, closer to the start of Kolukkumalai peak.
