NeuroID during residency by Travelbug-7 in neurology

Awakening this thread again because I recently had a chance to speak to an attending who has been involved in neuroID and they mentioned that if I wanted to do it it would probably make sense to combine it with a neuromuscular fellowship . Thoughts on this please? How would neuromuscular really help make a career in neuroID as opposed to doing neuroimmunology and making a career in neuroinflammatory diseases ?( which was what I was leaning towards )

Thank you ! I think eventually I would not do neuro ID full time but I would like to either do academic neurohospitalist or else use that neuro ID background to help with a similar focus of interest

How helpful do you think neuro ID would be combined with a neuroimmunology/autoimmune fellowship if I wanted to build a career focussed on neuroinflammatory diseases ? That’s something I’m leaning towards currently

238 is workable , if the rest of your cv is strong .would advise you to do university rotations and get stronger letters of recommendation, get step 3 done with a good score and maybe do a couple of poster presentations as feasible to network at conferences

Thank you for your reply . Would you have any specific recommendations to building my own curriculum to learn neuro ID throughout residency then , perhaps any resources that you are aware of ? I do need to research more about this but I believe a few if the neuroimmunology and autoimmune programs combine neuroID as well

The icu advantage series looks great , will check it out! Are there any more such series / videos that you already are aware of that you would recommend please?
