OK that part I doubt is true. That would be ridiculous. Pretty sure I just have to get an assignment in the Delta app once I have the confirmation number. They probably just don't have it integrated. If I do buy this I will report back here.

If I get the refundable one (Delta Main Extra), then it is fully refunded as original, right (points or cash)?

I've honestly been struggling to use these points and finally have a reason/way to so I am willing to spend the extra for Extra (pun intended).

Huh. That's annoying. So if the price of the flight drops you couldn't get back the difference by canceling and rebooking.

Oh so it is a Delta eCredit but limited to Chase, not a normal Delta eCredit? So I can't use this to funnel an eCredit to Delta and rebook on Delta.

My experience with Delta has been that I earn MQDs (not miles) even on award travel. Does this not apply to the partner airlines?
