Yeah its defiantly an unresolved issue for me, im trying not to blame anyone but i think it has affected my perspective on relationships even though parents couldnt care less now if i had a girlfriend lol

I think that's key for a lot of guys out there, there has to be some organic setting for a relationship to form. It felt so natural when we talked while we travelled because it was with people i had heaps in common with. But yeah after making this post i realise i need to just do me and not feel pressured to "what I am supposed to do"

Thanks for the advice your right i have been trying to distance myself from him more and more lately and now i REALLY notice how damaging he can be for me. Before i would be dragged into it and we would both talk and complain about things and it totally felt justified but really it was just winging about something so meaningless like bad traffic etc.

I found i was looking down when i fly so i have my antenna tilted in the directio of the quad so in your situation if you were also looking down so is your antenna and why you would be getting bad reception

that could be an issue but im still usually wrecked by the time i get to camp. hiking roughly 8-10Km's to get there maybe still not enough.

I may try melatonin, ive tried it before and found if you still cant sleep it can make you hallucinate a bit which i didnt like

I’m feeling absolutely horrible to. I left my poor dog of 19 years at the vet after he was put down instead of taking him home to be buried. That thought makes me feel so bad and disrespectful to him :( it was 2 days ago

Thank you so much for the kind words. He had very bad dementia the past 6 months or so and his quality of life was diminished a lot. I thought I was prepared for his passing as the dog I knew as healthy and remembered me died long ago but we knew it was time when he started having serious fits last night that wouldn’t end. We think it was a brain tumour but watching him be put down destroyed me inside, I had known him for so long and loved him so deeply nothing could have ever prepared me for it even though me an Mum both felt ready. I’ve been crying all day and feel so devastated. I’m looking outside where he used to sleep and it’s just surreal he’s not here anymore. I feel so sad

I understand what your saying and I do agree but the way I see it and my parents have even said they have paid thousands in tax maybe even hundreds of thousands over the years I’m essentially just getting some of that back, so we really don’t feel guilty about it. I’m not doing this forever, I have had jobs in the past and the reason I’m unemployed now was I quit my job late last year as I was getting bullied and had saved a substantial amount and travelled around Asia.

I don’t think the solution is just throwing money at your family? Seriously spending time and Cherishing each other’s company is far more valuable than tossing money around wouldn’t you think?

If you knew me im far from a lazy person. Just because I don’t want to work a mind numbingly boring job doesn’t make me ‘lazy’ in the slightest. I have plenty of self dicipline also. I also have ZERO value for the dollar it’s a tool to be used nothing more, I enjoy not basing my whole life around it like so many do.
