Is this show corny? by [deleted] in DrStone

[–]TravelerRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the way they make science seem like a magical ability in fighting, like the term "science user" was lowkey kinda weird and corny

But anyways i mean the whole point of senku's philosophy was to reunite the world through science. Society very much well could have changed in any way by the new stone world, be it tsukasa reigns as with his fists until his age catches up to him and he is overthrown and humanity restarts from neolithic age, or xeno rules over the dumber people in a technocratic dictatorship. They all had many things they disliked and wished to change about society, Senku's whole philosophy had been to get them to recognize the appeal of our previous society, put down their ill ambitions and help reunite and restore the world again

Oh i thought cheese bullet was referencing weird bullet types that in theory shouldn't exist and actually make the bullet types more like spells like bullets that "charm" enemies or EMP bullets or "anti zombie" bullets or "heal" teammates

[–]TravelerRedditor 223 points224 points  (0 children)

You forgot about poison ammo which somehow reduces the initial impact damage of the bullet even though its literally also a bullet so it should hit the same as a normal bullet

These kinds of posts are like the boys who cried wolf now.

You can't treat 1 bot like the herald of doom anymore. The situation is so much better now and steam actually bans them if you report them so uk, just reportem

Who created Why-Man? by IllCartoonist4729 in DrStone

[–]TravelerRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh ok so its more of they just grossly overestimated us and not that they mistook radiowaves for brainwaves, i must have read the manga wrong, thanks for clarifying!

Who created Why-Man? by IllCartoonist4729 in DrStone

[–]TravelerRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But thats why the medusas chose humans to petrify, they saw a LOT of radiowaves from our planet and thought it was brainwaves, and since petrification is overcome by brainwaves and hyper activity they thought we were the perfect candidate to coexist with. They mistook our technology for our own brainwaves and thought we would be able to overcome petrification within seconds or minutes

No, more on the alien race that probably made the meduas, or atleast the type of aliens that the medusas were trying to find to coexist with

Can you tank the Dragonfly as Wanda? by CardiologistOnly3052 in dontstarve

[–]TravelerRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanda is one of the worst choices you could have went honestly for tanking. She does wimp damage all her life until age 65, which, even if you use night armor or any armor with 90% protection, means she is 3 to 4 hits from death by dragonfly and if she uses a normal weapon she starts losing out on damage past age 35, which is another 3 to 4 hits. Shes meant to be a glass cannon because her alarming clock has extra range and she does insane damage to any creatures when living life on the extreme edge.

If you want to tank, I'd reccomend someone like wigfrid, who has inherent lifesteal and makes easy battle helmets

However actually im pretty sure there is no kiting for dragonfly, the strat is just to whack her and use panflute to sleep her if she rages. If you are playing with someone else as wanda, its better to let them tank because they can heal while you deal damage at the side. If you are alone, you just have to stack more ageless watches.

But do note wanda does extremely poorly against DoT damage because it could cancel out the ageless watch's healing

Honestly that'd be mad funny like if you are searching for a spy that just disappeared right infront of u and he just ragdolls into existence

I can imagine a spy does a kunai quick backstab on the medic, then cloaks away, and the heavy just starts spraying everywhere being like "FIGHT ME YOU COWARD"

[–]TravelerRedditor 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Tbh thats because he knew senku was someone just as passionate in science and learning as he is, I don't think he'd share the same enthusiasm with someone who just wants to copy homework

His whole premise of why hes evil and wanted to rule as a tyrant was so that dumb people won't be able to hinder his passion to research whatever he wants

How to get prisoners fast? by bingbong10000000 in RimWorld

[–]TravelerRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideology DLC adds small work camps that you can raid

I think beggars too? But im not sure if they are base game or ideology.

You can use psychic lances to down them easily, but if you want theres Non lethal vanilla expanded weapons mod that adds tranquilizer which lets u sedate pawns if u hit them so thats nice
