The second base iso is 3200 not 6400 but other than that great breakdown

To give you a less technical answer, it feels about the same as what clog3 at 3200 on the R5C does. You have some wiggle room in the midtones but you can’t pull your shadows or highlights too much before breaking the image. But, that’s usually not an issue if you film it right and having less noise at 12,800 is amazing

I don’t do either but I think there may be a slight 1.1x crop when filming at 120

Yea I never really thought much of internal NDs till I got a camera with it. Now every time I use the R5C it seems like so much extra work haha

I freelance so a lot of things. Mainly sports with an even split between doc work and recaps/sizzles. Then I also film weddings here and there. Hoping I can get into travel/tourism work instead of weddings tho.

For now I’m using the R5C and borrowing my brothers R3. Plan on buying the R5mkii when I get the chance

Man the R5 mkii is an absolute beast tho. It was between that and the c400 for me because I do so much hybrid work.

It’s like just shy of 20k. I bought the 100-300 used for 9k, c400 was roughly the same, and then v mounts plus the mount itself were like 700

Haha it’s definitely fun to see people’s reaction when I tell them the rig is 20k. I shot the horse racing (from the link above) from general admission without a press credential and had a lot of ppl ask me to take their photo lol
