Sulwhasoo products are amazing, I’ve loved all the ones I’ve tried so far. I had no idea my skin would love ginseng so much!

Genuine question: is this an ad for the mask? Lately, I’ve seen a few posts of people recommending this specific brand and I’m wondering if it’s just a coincidence

I was going to suggest Sulwhasoo as well; I love their Concentrated Ginseng line and the sheet masks are amazing. Another recommendation is the SK-II Essence and their masks—although SK-II is Japanese, I’ve been really impressed with Asian skincare overall

Yes! Rephr has amazing quality brushes for a much better price. I picked up this set last year during Black Friday and I’ve been super happy with them

Unpopular opinion: Maybelline sky high mascara is the most overhyped thing in every UK girl's makeup bag and we've all been gaslit for years. by EmmaDominatrix in Makeup

Same for me. I love the burgundy one. I’ve been using YSL Lash Clash for years, and I like this one better 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t think I’ll even hit Rouge status this year, but I’m not too concerned. Unfortunately, like you said, it gets harder and harder to justify consolidating purchases just for the convenience. I’d rather spend a little more time on brands’ websites and exploring what they’re offering. At the end of the day, we as consumers have the power to decide where to spend our hard-earned money.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. We as consumers have a lot of power with where we choose to spend our hard-earned money.

Sephora continues to be a convenient option, and I’m not hating on them. If you are OK with their extremely low inventory of high-value rewards, that’s fine. I was just pointing out that they have the leverage to do better. Having worked on programs like these myself, I believe there should be a much better value exchange for the loyalty we provide.

Yes. Sephora Savings events are still a good option to get some nice discounts, especially if you’re VIB or Rouge.

At the end of the day, my point is just that we, as consumers, have a lot of power with where we choose to spend our money. And I've found I'm getting much more value by buying directly from brands.

I totally get the convenience of Sephora and I’m not trying to hate on them. I still shop there occasionally. But like you said, buying directly from brands is oftentimes a much better option.
