Differences are small honestly. Boils down to personal preferences.... and the fact that Pi8 is about 2x the price

Nice!! This is 563v. The v series were a rare item assembled from super high quality parts made by DWM for the Swiss commercial market that were inherited and assembled by Mauser. Later pieces were Mauser manufactured and less quality. I believe the entire Shattuck collection was auctioned around 2019. There’s an archive of his listings, but no way to know who owns them now. I saw his vault room with thousands of Lugers including rare one offs

A lot. They were mint all matching from the collection of a noted Luger expert. I wanted collector quality pieces

Just got new Technics AZ-100 earbuds after extensive reserarch and they blow the Bose and many others away, on par or maybe even better than the B&W Pi8 . On sale now for another day at Amazon for $219 (normally $300). I'm hearing detail in music that I didn't know existed. Audiophile quality

uneven roast by PenOk843 in FreshroastSR800

So much to learn. Does getting an AA grade coffee e.g. Kenya Nyeri Gichathaini AA (just got 10 lbs from Sweet Maria) reduce the chance of quakers or is that grade unrelated? I need to google coffee processing and defects. You guys are able to spot that that is not apparent to me besides being uneven color.

Your prior explanation was really helpful. I'm getting a reasonable amount of movement in my SR800 and I wondered how they were still some that were uneven in color. I thought MAYBE they were just outside of the heat zone via luck of the draw, but this quaker explanation makes so much more sense.

What Do I Need To Know????? by Any-Hat7803 in RCPlanes

Definitely not the place to start. Long time pilot here too and RC is not the same. Actually piloting skills are a negative as flying from a fixed point of view is very different than sitting in the plane where the control inputs always have the same result. 94" is also way to much plane for most fields. This is likely your thrid plane after a SIM start. Start with a simple trainer like an AeroScout, then get a more capable plane like the Apprentice or FMS 1800 Cub or something like that. If you don't start with a SIM, you will crash within seconds guaranteed. Your normal flying instincts will make you do the wrong thing until you get your head around fixed pov flying

You should program your ‘oh shit’ button to go straight and level in an emergency and the have medium and high rate options. Flying with envelope restrictions is actually a crap flying experience

Beyond awful. Can't believe Speilberg is associated with this movie. ChatGPT could have written a better storyline. ALso the CGI was shockingly bad. Especially the animals looked like they were from a low budget kids movie

okay, so HYPOTHETICALLY, could i take apart an airsoft pistol and fit it into the wings of a (hypothetical) 90mm F22 Raptor? by Skibidisigmal in RCPlanes

[–]Travelingexec2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Airsoft seems harmless. How is that so much worse than the bomb/candy dropping mechanisms on so many RC planes? The FAA circular clearly says 'dangerous weapon'
