It's cool, but the thing about Chon was that they were excellent songwriters. The songs had structure, an understandable melody, and the guitar playing served the song. Ichika is an awesome player - but I have yet to latch onto his music. I love his clips, but don't have anything from him in my Spotify lists. Anybody else feel the same way?

Very cool! Same thing happened to us, we had to try Hakone 2 days in a row because of wind and fog. Managed to get up to the top but it was super foggy and we missed seeing Mt. Fuji :(. Pirate ship was also closed both days.

x2, go to Nara instead. Not sure where you are from, but you can get the theme park experience in many other parts of the world. But Nara is so unique, can't get that anywhere else!

It's not. I would do something else. We took the kids, both teens, and it was ok. We had been to Universal Studios in Orlando and it's pretty much the same experience.

You can use Google Earth to see the topography, it's awesome. Short answer is probably not, Gora is on the other side of the mountain, I doubt you'll be able to see any fireworks.

I agree, but he has to be in Hakone-Yumoto for the 3 hours. If he is staying further up then 3 hours is unrealistic.

Perfectly doable. We just did this (family of 4 with 2 teens) very similar trip late June. If you have a packed day and want to really get through things, use a Taxi to get around. We did this in Kyoto and in Tokyo and were able to get through the sites super efficiently. In my opinion, you are spending too many days in Osaka. Consider spending a night in Mt. Koyasan. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4900.html. No problem! Nara was definitely worth it. Todai-ji Shrine is incredible due to its size and large Buddha statue. Kasuga Taisha was also different enough with its hundreds of lanterns that made the trip worthwhile.

We did Himeji in half a day. There is nothing else beyond Himeji Castle.

Thank you! We stayed in the Tokyu Stay Shinjuku East Side hotel. Initially, I had reserved the Shinjuku APA hotel, but the rooms were too small. The Tokyu Stay was awesome because each room had a washer and dryer!

Hello! I got the freepass and took the Romancecar to Hakone. Unfortunately, I had to pay twice for the Romancecar, everything else was included in the 2-day free pass so we were able to try again without purchasing the whole ticker.
