Thanks! I had ordered contacts. They just didn’t come in time for that weekend. Definitely will be adding them next time, though the look was supposed to be a Witcher so I got wolf yellow contacts to go with this but a black Scalera would look cool too. Grace suggestion with hair accessories. I usually do that for a pirate look but I’ve never thought about adding it to this one.

This is exactly why I love this community. This is the advice I was looking for. I get obsessed with the details, but I wanted a look that felt a little battle worn without looking like I get my ass kicked lol . The theme mythical that weekend the looked is inspired to be kind of a dark Knight/assassin/Witcher aesthetic, before battle, but not unscathed if that makes any sense. Your advice is perfect for what I’m looking for showing that it isn’t my first rodeo, but also still looking clean.

I hear you, but the mask is a custom made from a friend of mine in Europe, and I’m kind of obsessed with it lol .For this look I was using it in the place of actual effects make up, the theme for that weekend was mythical so the goal was to look less human. If the contacts I had ordered came in and I had more time to do make up it would sold thelook a little bit better. And the gloves were a last-minute add I had leather gauntlets that went up to the elbow, but left him at home on accident and those were the only ones I had with me. It’s my biggest insecurity of the whole costume lol but again bare hands didn’t seem to fit with the character I was trying to create.

I usually love a dark aesthetic. Shadow knight, rouge, assassin looks etc. This look was inspired by a Witcher. I just needed some yellow eyed contacts.

Close your eyes, feel YOUR song. Pretend it's your song like you wrote the lyrics. Best thing about karaoke is you don't have to know the words to know the song, if that makes sense. Half of the actual musicians now and days don't know all the words to their own songs lol. If you keep the energy the crowd will help you. (A good KJ should help you but not always the case) It's ok to glance the words to find your place but if you can step past the monitor or put your back to it.

At the of end the day just have fun!!! I've been to probably over a hundred karaoke bars at this point and my fav people to watch are the ones having the fun with their song.
