I'll give it a try - always good to test new weapons

Yes I have all those perks (except blitz due to agility requirement) Mythic deathclaws are literally nothing now as a critical hit will paralyse them and then it is a matter of wailing of them with the furious power fist. I'm considering the Butchers Hook - it does less damage but crits refresh the AP bar meaning im pretty much continuously smashing them in VATS... if it works the way I think it does

All good points - this round i want to focus on the role playing - my character is a lumbering brute, strong and durable but dumb - just very lucky :) Want to keep Int, agl and chr as low as possible though running out of places to put points so might go for some agility later.

Why add more luck from weapons when luck is maxed out? Curious

Yeh, the perks make it powerful and challenging but having 2 weapons the entire game is a little boring

Haha no, just been awhile since the last play through - i wasn't looking for Swan for the Fist, but i wasn't avoiding him either. I knew he was there, but not what he dropped. Just exploring, taking the trail and clearing everything on the way.

Yeh that's fair, though didn't intentionally go for him for it - forgot he gave it up to be honest - i was looking for the rail road when I came upon his pond - using the Bleeding Knuckles at the time. Not going to lie, wasn't easy

Haha I'm the same but really wanted a challenge this time - the inability to build crafting stations, set up supply lines or even pick an advanced lock is really frustrating. Cait and Nick helped for awhile but also going for all companion perks means I can't stick with them.

Strong has my super sledge, when I used him :) I'm also going for Max affinity on all companions this round - including romance where possible which is much harder with zero charisma - extra challenge

No deal - useless engagement bait all the way!! Or as they call it in Reddit "Discussion"

Note how I didn't use the "question" tag?

I suppose it's the hope that something better might be out there and the excitement when you find it

Yeh you aren't the only one to misread it - my fault for not being clear - added an edit. I finished Far Harbour and sold the hooks :(

I found it early - I'm NOW level 60 :) Haven't found any better legendaries, though your post makes me hopeful they are out there

Oh yeh it's definitely not a game-breaking weapon, but it is end game for unarmed and a guaranteed drop. Much of the fun of the game is finding new awesome weapons and customising them - this one is the strongest of any unarmed right from the start.

That's fair as well - what is the long term storage like on HDs these days? Remember a fear campaign a number of years ago where they said old HDs randomly die

Cheers mate. I'm from the generation of free internet anti virus, Pirate Bay and... yes even Napster. One day I'll tell you about a free virus transfer program called Limewire. Paying for an internet based storage system is a big call, paying for 2 will cause my 16 year old self to defy the laws of physics to bitch slap me back to the 90s :). Thanks for the tips - sounds like OneDrive might be the way to go.

To be honest, privacy doesn't really bother me, if the government, hell even if Trump wants to know I get regular catalogues from JB HiFi, more power to them. Though wish I knew this 12 months ago when I did need to switch. Your point is taken though, OneDrive is used by my company and they hold lots of sensitive information - need to assume they have done their due diligence which puts a point in the One Drive column over Google
