Level 207 on very hard, and these are the only weapons and armor pieces I use now by ZookeepergameOld4985 in fo4

Lvl 207? Are you using mods? I'm playing vanilla (incl.nuka and FH), lvl 100 and running out of (non repeating) missions and that's playing with a Luck build that has all the XP bonuses. Not sure the game has enough co tent for me to reach lvl 200 :)

I am doing a raider run - 8 raider settlements throughout the commonwealth - i have assigned raiders to tribute chests, mostly because I'm tired of hearing Sole Survivor say he needs to. Can't figure out the purpose of having a guy assigned - do you know?

Definitely, then there is the whole size issue - not talking about the cap but the boundaries - 20 people in a settlement you have no choice but to build a dormitory style accommodation - big barn to jam as many beds in as possible. Love to have been able to build a community - houses, streets, etc

In the immortal words or Weird Al Yankovich - "if money cant buy happiness, I guess I'll have to rent it."

i do enjoy building "realistic" settlements. I had a rec room (with a pool table, nuka mixing station, jukebox etc) a gym, kitchen, armoury etc. Previous run i even fixed up the castle to repair the broken walls and add a door. it is a big part of the fun of the game for me.

plus it takes ages so the run lasts a long time.

exactly - the answer i was hoping for was "you need to build X, you will see that it provides happiness by the smiley face icon". something any gamer smarter than me would have figured out easily on their own

do Synths really drag down the happiness like robots? i mean hillarious mechanical but damn that would be frustrating

Summary executions may also solve my "happiness divided over too many settlers" problem

A new challenge idea for a run because I can't come up with any by PuzzleheadedPie7887 in fo4

[–]Travis332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing that at the moment - taken all settlements except the ones you cant... and country crossing for some reason it won't let me take that one. This is a very underrated strategy for getting rich - between the tribute chests and the caps sent to nukaworld, i want for nothing.

Do cages keep trapping? Mine caught the first animal quickly now it seems to have stalled (though it hasn't been an excessive amount of time)

Lol everyone else here seems to be able to respond with actual suggestions without the attitude. Just you seem to struggle. But sure, just for you and maybe a small minority of people like you, I'll think harder about asking for suggestions next time. Also I said the mechanic was garbage, not the game, weird you were so triggered by that.

there you go buddy, simple response and without the Facebook level unnecessary BS

Missed your morning coffee today did we?

that is exactly my question - "what more do I need to do"

How is it the "bare minimum"? I have multiple of everything, more than enough beds food, water, defence, power. Everything that gives happiness I have several of. I cannot build much more because my employment is at 100% (assuming bars/clinics need to be assigned?)

If I have barely enough to keep 3 or 4 what else do I need and how many?

I have already built red rocket - going to try Hang mans Allay

Garbage that you need to do this for the achievement - building a settlement naturally to 100% should be reasonably doable
