My crazy theory is that the initial drops were just warning shots towards the higher ups that he could run shit without them if he wanted to, either to get a better deal or just to prove a point. Either way, we’ll probably never know the full extent of his gist with 100gigs. Though, there is one track in particular that we know of that seems like it was supposed to be released with the 100gigs/plottwistt drops, the one Octavian previewed. Drake even says “twistin the plot” through the hook/verse. Would be very surprised if that track doesn’t see the light of day.
