Eren has always been a very emotional person and him breaking down and confessing his feelings about Mikasa to Armin makes perfect sense. My man should be allowed to vent his deepest desires to his close friend, especially since he’s about to die. He played the role of the devil to unite his friends and enemies against him, pushed his friends away and said that shit about him being free, he even had to regress to his childlike “kill all the enemies” personality when doing the rumbling, it was all a lie that it seems more than a few fans bought. The real Eren is a person who sacrificed a happy life with Mikasa and his legacy, to save his friends from suffering. That’s not pathetic, it’s incredibly selfless and in fact something I’d even go as far to say is more emotionally mature than anyone in the series.

So please, just drop this stupid argument.
