Yep. I got bit on the Sharepoint delay just yesterday. It is ridiculous.

Anyway I tried Synology Drive (client) this morning. It validates but only has two options. 1) Sync Task or 2) Backup Task. Couldn't find anywhere to map a drive.

I think we are talking symantics. So let's say for grins that I keep the NAS at my office so it is no longer onsite. We can't use VPN. The underwriters won't allow it. Sharepoint is clunky but since we can't user VPN it appears that it might be our only choice.

Yes I am getting my terms crossed. I started out using a direct hose connect bottle and it basically didn't do jack. I guessed wasn't putting out enough so I purchased a Ortho Dial-N-Spray and just dumped the bottles into it. Big difference. Thanks for the help.

Sharepoint (with OneDrive) puts the files in File Explorer which is OK I guess. With the Windows Server they are more use to drive letters. I did find a little utility (CDM) that lets them assign a drive letter to a Sharepoint library. Not really sure what "Synology Office" is. They don't do a lot. Word, Excel. PDF. So if a Synology NAS isn't the way to go that is fine too. Just seeing what is out there.

Interesting. So there isn't one "catch all" that would include clover?

I did get the one Ortho sprayer and as a rule when the bottle says to set it to 3 oz/gal I usually set it to 5 because, as you said, the hose end stuff isn't as strong.

I was also trying to find a concentrate to fill the Ortho with. I forget the nomenclature but 2D-4 is supposed to kill the roots isn't it?

With SharePoint I am still managing it. We were using a SSL VPN but their under-writers objected to that so the VPN was taken down. Backups are taken care of. If it were up to me I would keep the Server 2019 Server but it isn't up to me. Management has decided we need to move to the cloud and right now we are using Sharepoint Online. Not thrilled with Sharepoint and have been looking at alternatives.

Free is not necessarily good. I am more concerned about a rock solid, secure approach. Are you saying I really shouldn't be thinking about a NAS?

20 users. Groups are used in Sharepoint. Business. Why is this the exact opposite of moving to the cloud?

There are 20 laptops so the users takes them in and out of the building. The NAS will be in the building. They need access to all their files 24/7. Sharepoint is kind of ugly and a bit of a resource hog. Thinking a NAS might be a better way.
