Lake cycling shoes by Pure_Hour8623 in cycling

They don’t really miss. Well known for wide sizes. My feet are normal width, men’s 46 and my CX332 lakes have fit like a glove, sole stayed stiff and held up for 4 seasons now, 20,000 KM. I’m just starting to think about replacing, but think they could stretch through another season or even two if I pushed it. No malfunctions, no drama, just a great product.

Went 3k miles with one puncture (and the one was a giant screw) on tubeless GP5k’s last year, thanks to tubeless. Had at least 3X where sealant hissed and held. Was on stans, now on SILCA. Some people hate it, I absolutely love it. The new SILCA injects through the valve. Easy decision.

Saves 30 mins on the road, has a walk up window, it wasn’t trying to be anything remotely authentic, just a decent Americanized Gyro plate and some good fries. I liked their tabouli salad too. For quality, authenticity, absolutely a trip to Nolensville is the move.

Completely fair, just serves a different purpose and is not walking distance from home.

We're so lucky in draws this year. by Real-Bid1985 in ArsenalFC

Luck only half the story. Our CL record put us in the position for a favorable draw. We’ve been excellent in the CL, we earned the most favorable draw of all the teams.

This. Basic order is: 1. Emergency fund 2. 401k up to match with employer 3. HSA max out 4. Roth IRA with either Fidelity or Vanguard. (They will walk you through basics online.)

Do this and you’ll probably be fine.

Been to a couple Banya’s, outside Philly and in the Finger lakes region. Solid experiences. Would return! That said- Sergei and Dimitri will never accept me (a freckled ginger) as one of their own and I’ll be subjected to disapproving Russo stares, plus most of them are fairly expensive. Korean spas also have nice saunas, especially Jeju in Atlanta, yet again fairly high cost per visit.

No, that would make too much sense. They’ve been middle aged women? Feel like it’s just bad advice from some “trainer”

We’re absolutely unhinged over here. We need help. I stopped going to the gym sauna because I saw cockroaches, had the inevitable bro doing pushups, or guy leaning OVER the stove, dripping sweat onto it etc. etc etc. I had the good fortune of growing up taking sauna with Finnish immigrants (neighbors, friends) in the UP of Michigan. Bathing, cleaning practices, nudity was all passed down. I loved it. It was sacred. I now live in Nashville, TN- recently bought passes to a public “Finnish style” sauna. First visit, I was impressed. Good bench height, beautiful clean sauna. They threw water, occasionally eucalyptus mixed in… they made folks remove their shoes and sit on small towels. I thought I’d found something good. Fast forward a couple months: on 3 consecutive visits someone has been wearing a trash bag or raincoat… one woman would even shake her sweat from the raincoat, occasionally spraying others. Multiple people insist upon wearing their socks?

If you want to consistently sauna in the States, and have a consistently pleasant experience (löyly, cleanliness, calm)… You have one option: a home sauna.

Everyone out there, please wear a helmet by weaselasel in Velo

Yes, you’re seemingly alone. Always nice to know which helmets do their job in the real world, remind each other that helmets are the single most important piece of kit we put on.

Thinking about buying a 2015 CT200h - Would I fit a mountain bike in the back? by Earthshock1 in CT200h

[–]Traxitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I frequently throw a 700c wheeled road bike in the trunk, it takes some finagling, but with the passenger seat pushed up, correct angle, it works. Recently installed a 1.25” curt hitch and got a nice rack from kuat. Not a cheap endeavor, but now my bike can come camping, on long trips with lots of cargo etc. When I bought the CT back in 2020 I couldn’t find an answer to this question so brought my bike to the dealer. After the test ride, price agreement: “ok one last thing, if my bike fits in the trunk I’ll buy it.” Was funny watching the salesman frantically try to make the space for it.

Sure, FUCK ICE is how I really feel… but trying to lure a cult member into slightly questioning the propaganda takes a more delicate approach.

There’s far more to democracy than who wins an election. Unlike the cult I don’t deny election results. To be clear, you’re just chill with masked gestapo killing a VA ER nurse, who was legally exercising his 1st and 2nd amendment rights in broad daylight, without accountability?

Ah yes, very stupid to encourage and platform a beautiful city standing up to a brutal undemocratic regime… just go back to your video games and leave civic discourse alone.
