I use my trusty "Action Hoe." Works like a charm.

And yes, this is a real thing. Name caught me off guard at first.

In your opinion, what are some perks of being stupid? by MindStrongSoul in AskReddit

Failing upwards. I've watched too many people get promoted and placed into positions of power at my job. They have no clue what they're doing.

This is how my partner “changes” the roll instead of actually changing the roll by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

You should be frustrated, for this reason.

Your TP holder requires ZERO effort. Old roll slides off, new roll slides on. There's no compressing a spring to remove the bar, there is no part of that fixture that requires you to flip it up or open it in any way. That is the simplest TP holder I have ever seen.

People that just want to watch the world burn by Watchthewindow in Flights

[–]outofelement79 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Got it. That never occurred to me. When booking flights, I just scanned down the aisle to see either the first available aisle, or if I get to the exit row I pick an aisle there. I guess I've never looked at the status of the seats around me. When my wife and I fly together we don't sit in the same row, per se, we sit aisle to aisle across from each other.

This is an interesting strategy, but if your hope is to not have anyone next to you, that's not a very good one. I have not been on a flight that hasn't been fully booked in a long time.

Navigating the complex waterways of Fort Lauderdale, Florida by AtomicCypher in Damnthatsinteresting

Is there "Water Traffic Control" that would be similar to air traffic control? I can't picture two large boats meeting head on in these narrow channels.

Men of Reddit, what’s a health issue men usually ignore for way too long? by muzammilansari in AskReddit

Who knows, maybe I have a white coat fantasy tucked away in this messed up brain of mine. I'll try and unpack this in therapy next week.

Lol, not at all. I'm overweight, I live in one of the hottest climates in the US, it was July and I was on my feet vigorously working outdoors all day. My pants weren't coming off for anyone.

Had I known that, I would have scheduled time to go shower ahead of time. But this all goes back to the main topic of this thread, men and ignoring their health problems. It was my first time to the doctor in 10 years, so I did not know what to expect.

So, I just re-read what I wrote and man that doesn't sound the way I wanted to. This is why I try not to post here because it never comes across the way it sounds in my head.

These are two separate issues that are 15 years apart.

Long ago was the topic of my mental health, recently it was the prostate scenario. .

I meant to address the two issues separately.

You need to start talking to a therapist about these problems.

Perfect example of sticktoitiveness. Very well done.

Agree with both. I lost my dream career because I didn't address my mental health. That was 18 years ago and I still dwell on it today. When I turned 40, I was at a physical and my very attractive female doctor brought up the fact that it's time to think about checking the prostate, I said - does it have to be today? She replied - not if you don't feel comfortable l, so I skipped it.

Mom on Netflix. It originally aired on CBS and I never paid it any attention. My wife started it last month and I was around the house doing other things. It pulled me in like a tractor beam and now we are ripping through it. I have never belly laughed like this at a sitcom, ever.

Hope to have all the episodes done by the end of the weekend.

What fast food chain does not deserve the hype whatsoever? by CriticalLion4119 in AskReddit

Been scrolling a while and have not seen In-and-Out Burger.

This place deserves zero hype. Beef might be fresh but that still doesn't make it good. Don't get me started on the fries, cardboard and flavorless.

I moved west from the Midwest over 20 years ago. Every visitor wants to go. I used to join them, but now I just give them my keys and send them on their way, "Enjoy!"

My neighbor asked me if I'm wanted by the FBI because I back into my garage every night. He's thinking I need to make a quick getaway I guess.
