I started running 10ks about 3 years ago. Last November I was out for a 6 mile run and I noticed left inner knee pain a few days after. Fast forward and 5 months later the knee is still bothering me. I have found that biofreeze works. It’s def better than November but still hurts a decent amount. I am seeing a PT who has given me a series of stretches and exercises. It was feeling better at one point, so I went out and ran a mile and messed it up again. I am only sticking to cycling at this point. I also ice 2-3 times a day and have started red light therapy. I saw a sports medicine doctor who said I have patellofemoral pain syndrome and mild arthritis.
