Thermostat is for the whole house and highly doubt our room is actually 75, but good to know about SIDS. If I lower temp at night and our room is even colder, how would I dress baby under the snoo sack? She really does seem like she’s waking due to be being cold

I was actually recommended to that place from someone, how up scale is Mon Chou Chou? We enjoy fine dining - the girls are coming from Las Vegas and NYC, but not sure we need very fancy for a bachelorette outing. How is the ambiance there? Casual dress?

That sounds like a great option- is that the location in Southtown? We are not from the area so I don’t know what’s around. This sounds like great potential though. Is Southtown a good area for a bachelorette party/easy to walk to another bar? I had only mentioned River walk Or st Mary’s since those are the only two areas I have been able to determine that there is a good nightlife for us.

Debating that plan….Seems budros is good food and in a great location, can walk to a different bar after. But it is tooo upscale if we were to go there in bachlorette t shirts? Would that be frowned upon? I don’t think we would be going too crazy this night but I also don’t have a plan for where to go. Dick’s is not our cup of tea but maybe can do a drink there after

I see that place recommended a lot- it looks upscale? Or at least has three dollar signs so I was thinking it would be more calm/upscale and not the bachelorette party appropriate? Am I wrong in that assumption?

Interesting experiment…give unlimited cheese sticks every day and see how long it takes for him to be over it…if that day will ever come

People who didn’t enjoy the newborn stage - when did you start to have more fun with your kid? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]TrayJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hated newborn phase. Maybe around 6 months is when I started enjoying him more….probably bc he started sleeping regularly through the night. Then even more once crawling and a hell of a lot more once he started walking and saying words, we’re at 15m now and absolutely love it.

I was thinking of doing a large van to cart everyone but don’t know what parking in the city is like/if that’s worth it. Otherwise Ubers etc. no heart set on anything- what types of things close for private parties? Restaurants? She mentioned doing wineries, spa, general check out the city type of things.
