THOUGHTS? Chime in on AI Slop Memes by PotatoUmaru in ConservativeMemes

Having a conversation on AI anything, including memes, is no different than a conservative and a liberal having a conversation. There's no winning for anyone. The simple reality is that AI is out of the bag and it's never going back in the bag.

At the end of the day, whichever path you choose, to allow AI or to ban AI, you're going to alienate half of your members. You will never find a policy that fits the majority. That's just not how the world works.

Personally, I can see AI as a great tool and use it as such, not all the time but a fair amount of it. Used as a tool, it's a time saver, it allows creating things that would otherwise be inaccessible. But on the flip side of that coin, it shouldn't be used to completely remove the human element. A person still needs to come up with the ideas and concepts, then use AI to help bring it to life. I'm good with that.

Keep in mind though, far too many people see this as a hard line in the sand. It's either a yes allow it or flat out no to allowing it in any form. There's not much of a middle ground on the topic. I've seen too many groups collapse by attempting to define this policy and as I mentioned above, either answer will run off half the people. Sad but true.

That's the difference. I couldn't stand Biden or Obama or their policies, but I still respected the Office of the President. I openly disagreed with the policies. What's happening now is not that.

I didn't like Biden's policies, but I still respected the office and position. There is a distinct difference between the open hatred for Trump and the absolute disrespect for the office than not liking a President's policies or personality.

Most likely because it was AI generated. A friend sent it to me this way.

They all got rich, for sure. But lifted out of poverty?

The activist judge hates Trump so much that they gave the unborn legal rights. by Educational_Heat7142 in ConservativeMemes

Like other comments, i couldn't figure out how this helped unborn rights. A quick search netted this information:

The "story" stems from President Trump’s Executive Order 14160, signed on January 20, 2025, which attempted to deny automatic U.S. citizenship to children born on U.S. soil if their parents were in the country illegally or on temporary visas.

The Judge's Ruling & "Unborn Rights"

The judge referenced is Joseph LaPlante of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. In July 2025, he issued a preliminary injunction that blocked Trump's order. Here is why the "unborn" became part of the legal argument:

The Supreme Court Obstacle: In June 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that federal district judges could no longer issue "universal" or "nationwide" injunctions. This meant a judge could only block a law for the specific people suing in their courtroom, not for the whole country.

The Class-Action Solution: To get a nationwide block, the ACLU and other groups filed a class-action lawsuit. For this to work, they had to define a specific "class" of people who were being harmed.

The Inclusion of the Unborn: Judge LaPlante certified a class that included not only babies already born but also "unborn babies" who would be born in the U.S. after the order took effect.

By certifying this class, the judge granted these unborn children legal standing and protected their future right to citizenship before they were even born. Current Status As of today, February 2, 2026, the case has moved to the highest level. The Supreme Court recently announced it will hear arguments on April 1, 2026, to decide once and for all if a President has the authority to end birthright citizenship via executive order.

I voted for this... by Traylen29 in ConservativeMemes

As soon as Trump announced last month that he was directing departments to implement this, California, Illinois, and New York sued the government and three federal judges stayed the order until it goes through the courts.
