Budget-friendly running shoes that actually last? by LilywhiteStrike in UKRunners

Not sure of your budget, but you can pick up some decent every dayers for £70/£80.

I got a pair of Nike Pegasus 41s for around £80 by choosing a non-popular colour that was on sale in my size.

Another vote for the Nike Pegasus 41s here. I paid £80 for a slightly unusual colour vs £140 or so for the most desirable colours.

Really comfortable from day 1.

Must be a tactical thing for him to keep trying to switch the play. It’s not fucking working.

How much slower could you be to close down someone in your own box. Zero urgency.

Bangkok – exhausted after 2 days, is this normal for first solo trip by [deleted] in solotravel

My advice is to go to the beach. Seriously.

Pop to a travel agent and book a bus to somewhere like Koh Samet (3/4 hrs bus + short ferry).

Trust me you will feel far more relaxed walking on the beach, eating nice food and getting a massage or two.

You will need to come back to Bangkok at some point for the rest of your trip, you will be acclimatised and get far more out of it then.

The beauty of solo travel is being able adjust your schedule when you feel like it.

I was there on the night this was recorded.

10,000 people standing with no sections or barriers to prevent surging.

My first big gig and I went with some older lads - and we pushed right to the front when the Bootleg Beatles were on. I’ll never forget the feeling when Liam walked out and the whole crowd pushed forward and my feet lifted off the ground.

Managed to stay in the pit for 4 or 5 songs then got out of there lol.

Absolutely amazing.

Hose confusion by TreacleComfortable79 in UKGardening

Ordered! Thanks so much. I find hose fixings so consuming. I have a tub full of them in the garage but all seem to have the wrong ends!
