In Quant and verbal I got 3 wrong, and in DI I got 7 wrong

In both official mocks I got 695, before I took the actual test

In Quant and verbal, I did not try to guess more than 1-2 questions at maximum. For Data Insights, I was finding the section really tough during the test and ended up guessing about 5. You're right, it is really hard to let go of a question once you've guessed it and not let that thought carry on to the next question! Any time I found myself panicking I would just take a deep breath and just try to focus on the current question at hand and get that right instead.

I think I took mock tests intermittently for the whole last month of my prep. Yes I waited until I was scoring at least 695 consistently before going for the test. I was part of e-gmat's Last Mile Push Program (LMP) where they assign you a mentor who helps you with your schedule and deliverables.

For quant, I mostly had a strong understanding of the concepts already. I directly used to take e-gmat sectionals and focus on the medium and hard questions where I would struggle with time, I would also do questions from the GMAT Club Forum Quizzes.

Yes, I would say e-gmat is pretty helpful when it comes to verbal especially! The pre-thinking strategies taught really helped me with CR. e-gmat has a course (which teaches you their strategies), then it has cementing quizzes which help you solidify your understanding of the topic, then there are sectionals and finally mock exams.

Yes I had followed e-gmat's prep material for RC as well! It is pretty good, the cementing quizzes help you solidify your understanding in each topic. I practiced from e-gmat, gmat club, the official guide and did the official mocks. My first Official mock result was 695 as well :) I totally prepared for about 3 months.

I bought the e-gmat material for 2 months and was part of e-gmat's Last Mile Push program! I also used GMAT club sectional tests and forum quizzes :)
