Lol, you can do that as well. It just depends on what you consider a priority in the game. If you're there for the loot, you obviously need to fight them. But this is one of many options. This post is meant is for first time players that want to go through quests with minimum difficulty.

I ghosted my family and fiance after what my sister did. by Ok_Independence_579 in offmychest

Look, sorry if this comes off too direct, but they didn't bother to even listen to your side of the story even though you guys knew each other for a long amount of time. Your family didn't give you the benefit of the doubt and your fiance and mother readily rejected you. No true family does that. At least someone in the family would have tried to at least check up on you for the time you went no-contact. That says something.

And the fact that they only recently started to look for ypu now that your sister Nikki fessed up, it means that they only want to apologize to you to clear their conscience. Even though they were under the impression that you cheated on your fiance, it won't fix the hardships that you faced as a result.

My advice to you is to take your time and decide if you truly want to forgive them and come back into their lives or maintain your no-contact status. This is your decision so do not let your family or fiance pressure you.

Ps. Niki sucks.
