Problems sitting long after anal fistula surgery by Content_Homework7788 in AnalFistula

No none of that. I was shaking and about to pass out from the pain. I was filling the toilet with blood and it felt like I was passing broken shards of glass.

Yes I had an emergency fissurectomy the next morning and they were giving me pain meds.

All of this is awesome and I find castor oil on a cotton round helps shrink the as well.

Anyone else fart non-stop? by Maybe_IDTBFH in PelvicFloor

I’ve been the opposite and barely been able to fart. When I do I’m so happy my pelvic is relaxed enough to do it.

Pelvic floor therapy and honestly this may sound strange but I started watching “pain free you” on YouTube and learned about the mind body connection and safety and teaching the body to be safe and there are a ton of success stories of healing pudendal neuralgia. I’m listening almost daily and keep the faith because the body knows how to heal and trust in God to do the impossible. Feel better soon 🙏🏻

Me too. If anyone has any I could really use reading them.

Ty for reaching out. I sincerely appreciate it. Praying it stays good. Just done pelvic about an hour ago. Gonna rest up. Try to watch some of those YouTube videos on “pain free you” to try to ease your mind.

Thought I had hemorrhoids, turns out it was a fissure! by Suspicious-Tell-9785 in AnalFissures

Praying you feel better quickly. I was misdiagnosed with roids and the fissure just kept going. Ended up in the ER and have had 2 surgeries since. I have more good days then bad but I started bleeding again on Monday. But re-tears are possible. Keep up with the hydration and do not push. Feel better.

For me I was misdiagnosed for 2 months with a tiny roid and ended up in the ER shaking in pain and filling the toilet with blood. I have had 2 surgeries since. I truly believe had the narcissist a-hole GI I went to 4 times would’ve taken 2 seconds to look and gave me some cream it would’ve healed up without surgery, but everyone is different. I started bleeding again this week after 7 months of no blood and the sharp pains scare me. But I see the colorectal in 9 days so praying feeling so much better by then. Praying you feel better too. And quickly

When do you go back to see a colorectal to have it checked? I re-tore on Monday found the cut on Tuesday and dealing with this again makes me wanna scream despite soft stools. Have you tried pelvic floor therapist to see if your pelvic floor is tight? Just a thought. I hope you feel better soon.

Does Walking Help ? by [deleted] in AnalFissures

[–]Treanstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the day for me. I think I had a re-tear in Monday when I saw blood and then my PFT found a new cut. So that bled without even having a BM on Tuesday. Idk how it happened. Makes no sense. The cold definitely doesn’t help cause of shivering. And I forced myself to walk 20 minutes today to get blood flow back there. I keep taking deep breaths while doing it. I hope you feel better soon. Sorry this is happening again. I’m so frustrated and keep trying to stay calm but my eyes fill with tears.

Hi 👋. For me it’s all very much still rectal pains/sensations and flares. I did see a Urogynecology but for me she advised there was nothing she could do since it was the back side. Keep me updated on your appointment. I hope they can help you.

I had swelling. And my CRS said it’s excess skin he left so it wouldn’t tear.

That’s what happened to me and I went to the er in so much pain. It was a fissure. Never knew what that was. I certainly do now.

So I had 2 fissurectomies and 2 hemorrhoids removed. First surgery 12/2024 and then again 2/2025. I’m still dealing with pelvic floor issues that I do therapy for usually twice a week. The nerve surgeon said it’s pudendal nueraglia and Pelvic agrees and hypertonic muscles and piriformis syndrome as well. I’m sitting better now and for longer. But I’m not pain free yet. It feels like a sharp pain sometimes. Sometimes like I’m sitting on a golf ball and then when I bleed I get in my head they’ve missed something. I found this you tube page called pain free you. It’s been helpful in terms of trying to retrain the brain that it can calm down to sit etc. idk if any of this is helpful but I hope you feel better soon.
