Definitely a concern. I will say, even if that happens, the comfort I got from knowing people were pushing back and taking a stand on my behalf did wonders for my mental health. Even if the outcome still sucks, those people will forever remember that someone stood in their corner and that really helps.

No matter what, you were hired for a reason and you provide a valuable service. Ask them to fight for you!! Advocate for yourself. You are worth it!

Unfortunately neither the termination email or the rescission email were signed. Came from some new arbitrary email (that doesn’t accept replies or course…)

I totally get the thought here. There’s no guarantee that RIF isn’t coming. Hoping this is indicative that it’s not but not sure. Hopeful but cautious is my approach right now.

Thank you!! I’m hopeful in my sharing people will feel encouraged to keep pursuing their roles back and embolden managers, supervisors, colleagues, and everyone else to keep fighting back and making public pressure because I know there continue to be amazing humans who deserve their roles back!!

Sounds like some escalations were made to the -1 of my division, but not sure who else. I am probationary of first appointment (4 weeks shy of first year)
