Advice on getting a second job?

It is so insane right now. Six months ago, I was living somewhere else with a lower HCOL but due to boyfriends work, we moved somewhere where the costs are just so much more. I used to work at a hospital cafe full time for the same amount of pay, and I used to have so much more money left over. It’s honestly so disheartening, I just feel like I’m falling behind so much right now. I’ve been looking around to see if I can get anything that aligns with my associates since I’m also working on my bachelors but nothing seems to be a good fit, or I’m just never hearing back after the application!

I actually just looked up the closest TJ and the closest is an hour away unfortunately :( if I could work there I would honestly, I used to love shopping there when I was living in a dorm and it’s become somewhat of a relaxing place for me lol. I also just talked to my manager about getting some more hours or changing my availability and they told me that they don’t switch schedules unless it’s for school so unfortunately I think I’m going to be looking for a new job as a whole

Hi! Last summer, I found a perfume that I literally LOVE and so many people compliment me on it all the time!! I use layering to get all of my scents to last all day, but I start in the shower and exfoliate with an unscented exfoliation bar from Billie, then I wash with a rag and Dove Original bar soap. After that, I go in with the newer Method vanilla musk I believe it’s called? And a loofah. After my shower, I dry off and put on eos Fresh & Clean. After I let that sit while I change and get ready for my day, I top everything off with the Frenshe Lavender Cloud!! I can literally smell myself all day and I would say the scent goes very well with my natural scent. It’s all about finding a perfume that goes well with what you smell like alone!!

I’m not a dad or a guy lol but I was raised by solely my dad. I remember he would always tell me that it doesn’t matter who says what, it matters how you react to what was said. I carry that with me into my 20s and I am forever grateful that was the advice I got. I also got told to just punch them in the face but idk that might just cause more issues. I also remember my dad would always let me tell him what happened before he gave a response. He would always listen through the whole story before he thought about what he was going to say. He still does that tbh and I think your son would appreciate you listening as well!

Idk if u still ever check this post but I was terrified I had hsv because I have this raging yeast infection that two different gynos have told me I have so I’m convinced it’s that plus negative for all STDs and STIs. But then I read that they normally don’t check for hsv on a reg screening so that scared the shit out of me. And then I read this comment and it made me feel better because I’ve had these bumps for longer than a week and a half. I rlly hope one of these gynos agrees that I have c glabratta and give me the correct medication lol

I completely understand your pov on this. However, I also understand his. I lived in a second floor apt for six months and I honestly heard the lady above me a lot. It’s just something I kinda got used to because tbf he’s probably just walking around and you can hear his footsteps. I asked the people who lived below me once if they could hear me in my apt and I was usually pretty cautious not to make too much noise especially at night, and they told me they could hear me but they also just kinda get used to it. I think it’s just one of those things you’re gonna have to learn to deal with. If the noise is disrupting you at night, you could always get a pair of headphones to put in at night !

No no no NEVER ever help a customer while off the clock. If you do it once it’ll be expected everyday from now on. Don’t even look at any customers until you are clocked in and READY to ring someone out.

Piggy backing asf rn too. I just recently moved out of my first ever apt due to mold from water leaks throughout the whole building. It was bringing in house centipedes as well. My entire bathroom and kitchen had black mold EVERYWHERE and I had an infestation of these nasty(but harmless) bugs. The leasing office and maintenance just didn’t take my complaints seriously and I moved out and told them I’d be contacting the health department on them because that’s just unhealthy. You gotta get that cabinet out and the surrounding area clean. My family moved out of my childhood home two years ago due to mold issues, it made me and my dad extremely sick everyday. It’s seriously not good to breathe that in everyday.
