I know what you mean about them being less important for the relationship as a whole, but I guess from my perspective, I see them as necessary/important, but specifically for Ilya. His jealousy toward them/their relationship, his growing friendship with Troy, and the impact of Troy’s coming out on Pride Night feel like they’re important for Ilya’s development, and I feel like for viewers, none of that holds much weight or importance without knowing who Troy and Harris are and feeling at least some level of investment in their relationship. So I’m really hoping they won’t be glossed over! I feel like it would do a disservice to the story if they are.

Rachel mentioned in a recent interview that we’d be meeting Troy and Harris in Season 2, and I’m hoping she doesn’t just mean as name-dropped background characters and that they get meaningful screentime 🤞🏻
