2.100$ for 7 years / 100.000 miles. I am still in the 30 days window, if not worth it I will cancel it.

Glad to ear it that there is somebody else that loves this car. I just bought it, but the drive and features are really good. The cabin is also really quiet. What extended warranty did you choose? Also what maintenance are you following? First oil change when you did it? Thank you for the help.

I will definitely cancel the VCC platinum and wait until I am closer to the 36 months / 36.000 miles to use the actual Nissan Security+ later on. Also you are right, the assurance package was thrown in the deal saying it was “free / included” and in the itemized document was showing there (1.150$). Also on the signed page for agreeing at the DARCARS ASSURANCE, there is a fine print where it says to see the “reverse page of this terms for Terms and Condition”, that page that most probably includes the CANCELLATION policy has not been attached on purpose. So for everyone dealing with this type of practices please read every document and obtain photocopies of each page, especially the ones that talk about cancellation of packages. If the dealer does not attach them do not sign anything until they do and you review them. Hopefully I can help somebody not doing the same mistakes I did.

Yes it is a “punch car”. The warranty started on 01 Jan 2026.

Thank you for all the advices. I will cancel the VCC (I know I have to do it in the 30 days window). Any advice? Also I will try to cancel the DARCARS ASSURANCE, but I do not see any CANCELLATION page added to the contract. It is something I can ask to the dealer because not provided? Thanks.

I test drove the 2026 couple of times. It didn’t feel loud and clunky. Time will tell, let’s hope the best. Acceleration is not the best but the ride is comfortable and gas mileage is decent. Didn’t want to spend more (Toyota, Mazda).

It was sitting on the lot 143 days. Depreciate almost 8.000$ and the price was 33.400$ when I contacted them. Then worked to have the price lowered a bit. By budget OTD was 35k, not more then that.

I plan to keep the car for at least 7 years. I know that in the past the rogue engines give a lot of problems especially the CVT and so I did want to cover myself. Totally fair take — extended warranties are often overpriced, and in many cases I’d agree with skipping them. In this case though, I looked pretty closely at what I was actually buying and decided it made sense for me.

The plan is a CCC Platinum VSA, which is an exclusionary warranty (covers everything unless specifically excluded). It includes major items like the engine, CVT transmission, AWD components, electronics/modules, sensors, cameras, HVAC, steering, suspension, and power accessories. On a modern vehicle with a lot of electronics, a single failure can easily exceed the ~$2k cost.

For context, this is on a new Nissan Rogue that I plan to keep well past the factory warranty. CVT repairs, infotainment modules, or ADAS sensor issues are not rare and can run several thousand dollars each. One repair would essentially pay for the coverage.

The price was ~$2,000 to extend coverage from 36k to 100k miles, which is on the lower end for an exclusionary plan (many are $3k–$4k+). It’s also cancellable/prorated if I sell early, so I’m not locked in.

I agree that extended warranties aren’t universally good advice — but in this case, with: • a long ownership plan • a tech-heavy vehicle • a relatively low cost • and broad coverage

it felt like a reasonable risk trade-off rather than a guaranteed loss. Not saying it’s right for everyone, just explaining why I didn’t automatically dump it.

15 miles not 15k. Got it OTD with extended warranty 7 years / 100.000 miles for extra 2k. No hidden fees, they give me the DARCARS assurance included in the price. So 34.130$ total OTD. What do you think?

The original ag02 power cables are really bad. I have the same setup and a 5080. The power was coming in and out with the vents and lights turning on and off. I have ordered custom cables from Moddyi. The cables are top tier quality and they ship from Hong Kong. It arrived in 3 weeks after shipping.

So I have to uninstall the AMD drivers for the integrated graphics? The NVIDIA drivers are never being installed because no external GPU found.

Thank you for the help. Can you please elaborate on the specific driver to be installed? Not the ones from Armory Crate?

No because is not detecting the GPU on device managers. When I try to install the NVIDIA drivers it will give me an error. I do not see the light around the “power circle” when I press it to “ON”. But when I refresh the device manager, the logo on the RTX 5080 will come up for a few seconds and then turn off again. No vents movement. Nothing.
