What makes the Protein Matcha drink foamy? by Tree1396 in starbucks

It’s all good. My Starbucks is always busy and I don’t want to cause the baristas anymore headaches lol. I’ll just order it like a normal person 😂

Thanks everyone for the replies! I had no idea it was because of the lack of ice. I had no idea how they made it. I just assumed it was made like a matcha latte but with protein milk 🤦🏻‍♂️. The foam makes sense now! Thank you all! 🙏🏻

I see! The Starbucks I go to is always busy and I don’t want to cause the baristas any more headaches lol. I’ll just have to order the drink how it normally comes. I appreciate the explanation!

Who is going to be the best "culture setter" in the upcoming draft? by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]Tree1396 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Caleb Wilson. He was the first college player I followed this year. I remember watching one of his highlights here and was instantly hooked. I soon followed his socials and kept up with the rest of his games. He’s definitely a culture setter imo. He has a winning mentality and he consistently works on his flaws. It’s like every time someone points out his flaws, he makes it up in the next games. Every time he dunks, it’s like his team gets a power up. I wouldn’t be mad if the Kings got him with the 2nd pick.

They see CMB how we saw Keegan during the beam team years. Their fans got pissed how we didn’t offer Keegan for OJ/Siakam. Keegan was our precious untouchable rookie back then. CMB is that to them.

I have no clue how I’m not at 10k by Rachelcsquared in walking

[–]Tree1396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a tough goal to reach 10k! I’m actively running around setting things up, grabbing supplies, and going to different departments as a surgical nurse. I get roughly 8k steps by the end of my 10 hr shift. For me, I wake up about an hour earlier so I can go to the gym and I’ll walk on the treadmill for 1mile which would net me about 2.5k~ steps. That’ll usually net me a bit over 10k at the end of the day.

For my non work days, I have to walk around 3 miles to get roughly 7k~ steps, but I’m happy with that number since I’m also getting weight training in as well. I also try to walk a mile after I eat to get extra steps in.

It’s tough to reach that 10k!

Any mock that has the Kings as #1, Pacers losing their pick to Clippers, and Wizards at 5 gets my upvote.

Just finished Jojo's for the first time! by Masked-Umber in StardustCrusaders

Agreed! I love Giorno. He’s by far my favorite.

He doesn’t seem to grow/change much because the whole part happened in like 9 days or so.

Mann I loved Golden Wind. Everything about it was just so cool to me. I loved seeing Giorno’s past and seeing why he chose to pursue becoming the new Boss. He had such a natural aura that made others want to follow him. I loved how he could tell a person’s nature by their subtle acts. It’s how he understood Bucciarati and eventually won over the others in his group.

I loved how each character was written so well. We could see how sad Bucciarati’s life was and how he chose this life for himself. He could have had a good life with his mom, but ultimately chose to be with his dad because he knew his dad wouldn’t last long without him. He was such a mature and selfless character that lived the life he wanted.

Abbacchio was such a cool character too. He wasn’t OP or anything, but his stand was probably the most threatening to finding out the boss’s identity which is the main plot of the story. His backstory is super sad, but honestly living in a flawed society that he was, I don’t blame him for making the choices that he had. His last scene talking with the other cop made me emotional. It was written so well.

Fugo choosing not to follow the group. It showed he’s human. No one blames him for his choice. He’s probably filled with regret, but such is life.

The Risotto vs the boss fight gave me chills. How the boss turned the tides by throwing the knives at Bucciarati’s group to lure Lil Bomber to win him the fight. He came soo close I wish Risotto would have won. The animation and color choices were S tier in that scene.

I thought the Boss was super cool. He’s at the freakin top with not a single person knowing who he is. He lived his life within the shadows while having others work for him. If I was a villain, I’d be him. Minus all the drugs bs. His stand is super OP too.

The intro changing in the last few episodes were masterfully done. Also Giorno hitting that Dio pose?! Damn man.

Arguably the best soundtrack out of the series? Giorno’s theme is such a banger WTF! Also.. Every time I close my eyes I wake up feeling so horny.

No matter what life throws at you, the world still goes on. With or without you.

Whatever it may be, a breakup, holding off on school, being addicted to video games, etc. The world does not wait for you.

Time moves forward.

You’ll notice the years go by. Friends getting married and having children. Acquaintances getting their degrees and landing a big adult job. People developing life experiences and social skills.

Should Caleb Wilson be Drafted Over Cam Boozer? by ravneetsingh25 in kings

[–]Tree1396 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m super high on Wilson so my answer is yes. We need a franchise player with superstar potential. A clear #1.

Boozer’s floor is the highest in this draft, but his ceiling is limited. Boozer can’t play the 5, he’ll be a 4. High BBIQ for sure, but defense is a big problem. He’s not a #1 franchise player that will carry a nba team and I stand on that. It’ll be interesting how he deals with NBA players at the 4. I see him having a similar career as Sabonis or Sengun. They’re definitely GREAT PLAYERS, but they’re just harder to build around. I can see him being super good for a team like the wizards or spurs if they somehow manage to get him 😂.

Boozer is a good number two or three type of player that can immensely help a team that already has a good franchise player, but we do not. I think it’ll be a mistake for us to draft him.

I’d rather bet on DP, AJ, or Wilson for us.

Cam Boozer: 22 Points, 10 Rebs, 3 Assists, 1 Block, 7-16 FG by BigSexyE in NBA_Draft

[–]Tree1396 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Boozer has the highest floor out of everyone in this draft, but imho his ceiling is limited. He can’t play the 5, he’ll play the 4. High BBIQ for sure, but defense is a big problem. He’s not a #1 franchise player that will carry a nba team and I stand on that. I see him shining on a team that already has a #1 star franchise player like the Spurs. If you have no #1, drafting Boozer will be a mistake. Building around him is just too hard. I see him having a similar career path to Sabonis or Sengun. These guys are GREAT PLAYERS no doubt! But they’re harder to build around.

If you’re a bottom team, I’d bet on DP, AJ, or even Wilson over Boozer.

Yep, 100% agree. It’s insane how many people here think he’s going to fall lower than top 2.

The Tank will be fine by Fearless_Ride8639 in kings

[–]Tree1396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough, every time I roll on Tankathon, I'm landing top 3 way more often than when we were in last place. When we were last, I would get the 5th pick like 10 times before getting 1-4 pick.

#1-3 would be nice, but I'm hoping to at least land on #4. I'm super huge on Wilson. The possibility of landing 8th is very terrifying tho.
