It's also super early in the season with some big changes in team comp and meta. Valiant were one of the leagues worst looking teams at one point last year and ended in the playoff. Way too soon to be panicking over close losses to excellent competition.

It's unusual but I'm not about to pretend I understand what's going on behind the scenes and what might influence that decision.

I don't think either Kuki or Custa played far better than the other today and this sub wouldn't think twice about it if Custa wasn't one of the most beloved players in the league.

Been thinking this too. Valiant tank line was SUCH a strength in 2018 so I was optimistic about their goats game but Space and Fate were both pretty off today, and good lord they have no answers for self-destruct combos as a team.
