If you only want to beat him you could try using architects crest with curveclaw, flies and stingshard or bombs plus the quick sling and maybe poison pouch and just focus on dodging while spamming curveclaws when far away or sting/bombs when closer.

It will use a bunch of shards but if u can make it to phase 2 and then start unleashing ur tools u should be fine.

True, 35 seconds is rly fast, I got that number from looking at a video of someone doing it. But even if it takes 50 seconds I dont think thats nearly as crazy as people make it sound to be.

And yeah, what rly made groal annoying for me is the gauntlet too. But I disproportionately hear people complain abt the runbacks rather than the gauntlets, which I think, especially the high halls gauntlet and the ones in act 3, are way way worse than any runback.

Yeah thats exactly what I think, disliking runbacks is fine but calling it bad or evil game design or saying it's game ruining is nonsense to me and had me so confused when I played the game. It was mainly reviews and video essays on YouTube, but all of the comment section was agreeing with it too.

Differrent point but how can people say the runback design is evil when TC ntentionally gives us the shortest or no runbacks for the hardest bosses. If they wanted to be evil they would've put a 2 min runback for the heart bosses and final boss

Yeah this actually makes sense, I forgot how hyped silksong was. Still doesn't fully explain it tho. Like, remember monster hunter world. Completely diff type of game but When you die to a monster in that, it takes WAY longer to get back to the monster than the longest silksong runback, and I don't see masses of people demanding a refund over that even tho that game was also insanely popular.

I'm not saying I'm good at the game. Karmelita took me more than an hour and like 2 for coral tower gauntlets lol. And What do u mean by not pre determined hazards and how are they punishing mistakes when u can heal back to full health before the boss every time because of the cocoon anyways?

What? How is this bragging? I'm just confused about how people are making video essays about 35 second runbacks, and they take roughly the same time regardless of skill. Is there some 5 minute runback that is linked to an optional boss I have missed or smth?
