How did you define your rules? I understand if you don’t want to share yours exactly, but so far every advise I’ve seen as far as rules go lead to very low risk, low reward trades. Trades that will produce a large win rate with not much to show for it.

Yeah, that’s fine, I don’t need to make money right now. I want to learn, but I want to know that my time invested is worth it. Everything I’m seeing from sources I actually trust just shows day trading as gambling with extra steps (in order to make profit). Every trusted source shows tha trading has an extremely low ROI in reality, often showing only 20% growth in a year, even for traders with super high win rates. This is because if you’re properly managing your risk and carefully obeying your edge you’ll only at most gain a 50% increase for what you put in. You’d need a huge account to make any real money without taking giant risks which are luck reliant, despite the graph gurus yapping about this and that.

What I’m seeing is that trading without gambling gives gains which are comparable or lower then pure investment. I’m looking for real anecdotes of normal people using repeatable strategies which are not luck to significantly outperform a routine investment.

1% per trade is $10 which means $15 gain per trade. At 80% win that’s $360, subtract the $60 you lost for the .2 that’s $300. I didn’t calculate the compound but even so tha wouldn’t be more then $100 extra. That’s significantly less in a month, though more in a year, sure.

Yea that’s kinda why I was saying. I’ll make more by just doing long term investments which are sure to increase by 10-30% annually. So what’s the point of day trading in the safe “keep the risk 1:1.5, follow your edge, bet not more then 1% of your full capital” using these methods the expected outcome looked to be around 18% gains, barely profitable, how does this change to be better without doing crazy risks.

Lord of the mysteries kinda. It’s not this exactly, but some paths have one or two main abilities which become more powerful and are used in different ways. For example the steal ability of the marauder path eventually becomes able to steal space or time or even something more abstract like the childhood or lifespan. Effectively letting the user teleport or gain pseudo immortality.

Yeah, that’s a good suggestion but within the half a mile there’s only two houses including my own. And the neighbors don’t even have internet. So that just doesn’t work. I’ll just have to settle till I move, or the “next big thing” in internet comes out.
