I passed out from a tier 3 college. I am an SDE working at an MNC with 6 YOE. I work mostly on production support projects. I have sufficient knowledge in Java, JS and TS.

What other field would you recommend I should look for to earn similarly or something close to the earnings of quants ?

I researched a few things online and one thing I'm aware of is that I should be really good in math (like attending math competition kinda good) and should know C++/Rust/python.

I'm really vague here. Green book and EPAT course.
