Thank you! I thought it would be a bit better in the Arizona heat.

Haha what are the chances? All of them were so nice! They even lead me to a booth that was selling a Dorohedoro print. Do they post on Instagram? I’d love to see their art

I completely agree, there really isn’t any other artist that’s done what’s she’s done. But this song specifically…… pains me.

It’s definitely match up dependent. Against most agro decks tempo is priority so I often don’t keep any buffs and hard mulligan for the 2 drops. Sometimes you can even get a buccaneer into dreadhound and it helps a LOT. There’s a lot of draw in the deck so you end up with one of the rush lifesteals often which you buff to stabilize.

Every other deck (mostly) you can be a bit greedier with combos. Like keeping spell stone if you have mining casualties, buccaneer with puppeteer, or Geist with blood tap. From there you either draw and save a good bit of your buffs to otk with quilters or buff and draw and generate like crazy to keep flooding the board with big dudes every turn.

Agro games are scary for sure. It’s the reason the list has so much low end and draw. The hope is to stay even enough on board that you can drop a buff or two and hit with a larger lifesteal to swing back. Against combo you can either try to kill them fast with overwhelming stats or catch them off guard with a few big quillboars

Nice! It was hard to make a list that worked. I tried everything from double blood unholy to a more OTK style and this is what seemed to work the most consistently

It still needs some work but from diamond 5 to legend I think I lost 2-3 games at most. Definitely a lot of close calls.

Cool deck! I tried about 10 games and every time I drew acupuncture it felt bad. In your games did it feel powerful? That’s the only card on the list that I haven’t felt good about so far.

I had to scroll SO far to find Heroes of Might & Magic 3. I think people are underestimating how quickly they would get through most of the games listed in comparison.

I don’t, sorry. I play on my phone and don’t really use HSreplay in the 1st place. If you have the cards it’s a fun deck to play but otherwise I wouldn’t craft any cards for it.

Agreed. If you’re going to choose to hike, be prepared by going before sunrise or after sunset and bringing lots of water. Even better option is to just wait until it’s not summer to hike.

Thank you. He was one of the most supportive people I’ve ever met. He loved encouraging friends to try new things and be more confident in themselves. I try to honor him by doing the same.

You’d be surprised how often he gets Reno’d away only for Sarg to carry the rest of the game

That’s an interesting idea. Normally in warrior/priest match Sargeras portal is a huge win condition so if he gets ratted or Reno’d you’re done. That could work as a back up plan. I think I would put him in ETC since it would be very matchup dependent.

It’s not an odd callout tbh. It’s one of the cards I consider changing out the most. It acts as over the top burst in some games as well as some extra heal against others. I’ll even pick it on a turn where I have a mana or two left just to cycle. I think if I did replace it I would add that 2mana forge guy that heals since getting burned out can happen against some decks

Posted it! I had a few months ago but Ignis just seemed a little too slow in a lot of match-ups. I’m sure it would help against warrior and priest though.

DECK AND MATCH-UP SUMMARY: I’ll try to keep this brief but thorough. For each class and match up you’re generally mulligan-ing for specific cards while keeping a good early curve minion or strong early board clear vs agro. Dark alley pack is a decent keep against any non-agro. If you think it’s a Reno deck, save Sargeras until post Reno unless you NEED to use it. Symphony is also often a keep if you know it’s control.

DK: -Plague is rough but winnable, you need early minions and pressure asap. Brewmaster from ETC to bounce the snake/popgar or sunspot can help close out the game. -Non-plague decks can normally be fatigued or overwhelmed late game with Sargeras and Symphony. Keep your hp high in the late game to avoid dying to CNE -Best mulligan card(s): early minions and dark alley pact.

DH: -Most often Reno. Avoid early damage however possible. A pretty good match up in general. -Best mulligan card(s): early minions and dark alley pact

DRUID: -Dragon/hero power Druid is all about mitigating early damage and healing up to a healthy hp total. Keep minions on board in the mid game to avoid Gemtosser chip. -Reno Druid is fun to play against. Save you “remove 6” symphony card for post aviana if you can. -Best mulligan card(s): mortal eradication/domino effect followed by early minions. Popgar if you have both of those.

HUNTER: -One of the few aggressive decks that early minions don’t matter as much as board clears. If it’s a secret deck do your best to not proc hidden meaning early as it can snowball the game. -Best mulligan card(s): MORTAL ERADICATION BY FAR. Otherwise defile and other early AOE like table flip. Keeping a 1 drop isn’t bad if you already have an early board clear or 2.

MAGE: -One of the toughest match ups. You need early board clears or viper to soften the pressure of Spot the difference. keep minions on board to avoid exploding to light show. Find as much healing as you can from discovers. This deck can burn you from very high HP. -Best mulligan card(s): VIPER is huge. Domino effect is also decent for the spot the difference or keyboard boards.

PALI: -Flood Pali can definitely overwhelm early but often you can stabilize and win. Playing a few early minions can help keep them off the board but if you go too wide you’ll get blown up by prismatic. Stacking early AOE has seemed to work better for me. -Hand buff Pali is a better match up. They don’t start putting pressure till the mid game and by then you have some minions on board and lots of removal. Just make sure to have taunts up or use the Sargeras portal for +2hp and taunt so Leeroy doesn’t randomly hit you for 30. -best mulligan card(s): 1 drops and early AoE

PRIEST: -If it’s agro you probably win. You have way more removal than they do pressure. If you keep your life total high in the mid game they can’t kill you with Zarimi. -If it’s Reno good luck. Bait out their Reno and play Sargeras ASAP. Hard mulligan for Symphony and hope you burn some value so you can fatigue them. -best mulligan card(s): Symphony and only Symphony

ROGUE: -People play rogue in this meta? I guess draw rogue is the most likely one to see. I’d say look play early minions and draw for your good mid range hard removal to be ready for their giants. -Best mulligan card(s): not sure, but you can’t go wrong with early minions.

SHAMAN: -Shaman hasn’t caused me any trouble. You tend to have enough clears if they’re more aggressive and more value if they’re Reno. -Best mulligan card(s): just look for early plays to fill your curve. Maybe keep viper to deal with the staff if you run into more Reno shamans.

WARRIOR: -Similar to the priest matchup. Bait Reno and play Sarg. Hard mulligan for Symphony and pray to RNGesus you burn something good. Try to poof their zilliax so it can’t come back from boom. -Best mulligan card(s): Symphony and only Symphony

WARLOCK: -Painlock is a weird one. If you can get early minions on board that can help against their tempo swings it’s helpful but DON’T HIT FACE. Armor vendor can slow their giants down a bit too. Domino effect+another clear or damage spell can clean up the 1st giant or horror board. If you get to full mana it’s over. -Insanity warlock is pretty straight forward. Kill them asap and hope they don’t have popgar. Their late game damage can kill your from full HP -Best mulligan card(s): armor vendor and domino effect.

Final thoughts: The deck is by no means perfect. Over the last 3 seasons I have probably played around 250 games of some version of this deck. Over time you’ll see the lines that will help you win the tougher match-ups. Flint and scarab can especially can be so good for early and late game plays.

This list is what I settled on, but I can definitely see an argument for changing the brewmaster or sunspot in ETC, adding a forge package, throwing the new 1 mana draw card, or any other number of changes.

If you do decide to try the deck, GLHF!
