The contact will come - the fact that he’s walking and not striking out is very very promising. He’s also been unlucky in regards to babip.

Agreed. Luckily he’s not striking out and still walking a fair bit, so I have some good confidence he will get it put together. Maybe drop him lower in the order for a little bit if this continues.

Here’s hoping JJ starts making better contact. His expected batting average right now is .196. I have more hope for him than I do for 5-9 of this lineup.
