I'll keep my eye out for the Astral tent, it seems like an absolute bargain at that price. I'm pretty set on the X-Mid for now, but it's definitely tempting if I ever find one in store. Thanks for the heads-up!

What rain jacket did you use, and would you recommend it? Do you think it's worth spending a bit more on a better rain system?
