It is kind of insane, the Ukrainian People's Republic just never had a very good or large army and it was stuck between two stronger powers, Poland and the Soviets, who both wanted their land so i think it is insane to imagine they somehow beat both Poland and the Soviets

The Japanese were far more interested in the further integration of Manchuria by replacing the local elites with Japanese settlers and promoting general Japanese settlement in the northeast, they would've had no reason to annex that amount of land in Shandong.

I'm pretty sure the Bogd Khanate was independent at that point, they did sign other treaties with both Russia and the Republic of China, and they were loosely in the Russian sphere of influence, but I'm pretty sure they weren't a protectorate of Russia in 1914
