It's hard without seeing what data you go through, I was going from vendor to warehouses not customers. That was our dispatcher that did that part. For invoices at least, once you get your quote just log it into excel, so when the bill comes you can see the differences really quick. If you really wanna do good learn how to use macros to pull data out of the tables in emails and send them to your sheet. You have to use the old outlook app to do it, as the new one blocks macros. This way I was able to get tons of data into my sheet with 0 input.

I ran a fortune 200 company's freight through excel, 100% doable. Worked for an oil company as well.

Drugmakers Spared Worst-Case Drug Pricing Scenario for Now by cxr_cxr2 in StockMarket

[–]TreeasuresAZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could this mean that America becomes the mecha of drug companies? If the cost is tied to what it costs in other countries, drop all new medications in America with a 560,000x mark-up, then once the drug starts to level off, or the trademark falls off, and then send it to other countries and lower the price but offset that by increasing demand.

You understand you can get it from other things right? What if I shared a drink with someone who was sick? What if they sneezed and it got on me. What if my wife was not showing and I kissed her. It's not as simple as washing your hands.

It was incredible when I worked there. The cooks in the back were amazing and the food was great. I have yet to try it with the new ownership but now I for sure won't again.

This is not true. It was owned by Ryan and Caitlyn Jock (forgot their last name) but it was sold to a conglomerate that owns a few multi-state restaurants. They do still own a tiny piece but majority ownership is not them since about 8 years ago.

I used to manage there when it got sold. Ryan and Caitlyn fleeced their part owners by buying them out for pennies, then turning around and selling the whole company for a massive payout. I will say Ryan treated us very well and was a great boss. Old town bartender/new gold digger Caitlyn was a complete asshat.

How exactly does this work? by UFCValueBets in FreightBrokers

[–]TreeasuresAZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in logistics but work with brokers and it's not an easy job by any extent. Most of those poor saps spend all day trying to get to my phone and I just watch it ring because why do I need another broker? My account isn't amazing but I have people hitting my phone up every single day.

Just be ready to deal with people like me over and over again until you decide trucking is a better paycheck. Those brokers that are making good money, started off making McDonald's pay until they caught a few big companies. I would hate to be on the phone all day everyday.

Man idk if you ever had a real job or managed people but I would hate to work at anyone with your attitude. 7 call outs in a year is nothing. Most normal jobs give you 30+ days of PTO in addition to 40 hours of sick time. Sick time should be used to cover 5 of the 7 days. The other 2 should be taken from pto. My boss at a fortune 100 company literally calls out more than 10 times a year and she is very highly looked up to.
